Visions & Fashion

Capturing Style 1980|2010

There have been images of fashion as long as there has been fashion: these are as diverse as fashion itself.
Visions & Fashion. Images of Fashion 1980|2010 provides a comprehensive view of the multi-facetted developments in this field over the last thirty years. Photographs and fashion illustrations from the international world of fashion make up the main part of the book. A large section focuses on the print media and visual communication of fashion labels and presents themes like “Glitz and Glamour” and “Myths of Modernity” in posters, lookbooks, advertising campaigns and videos.

Artists among others
Ruben Alterio, François Berthoud, Cem Bora, Michel Comte, Mats Gustafson, Gregor Hohenberg, Françoise Huguier, Katerina Jebb, Antonio Lopez, Christin Losta, Martin Mago, Sarah Moon, Helmut Newton, Rico Puhlmann,  Carola Seppeler, Eric Traoré, Tony Viramontes and Nancy Wilson-Pajic
