The photographer Corinne L. Rusch guides us through the fascinating and surreal world of the major grand hotels in Switzerland and South Tyrol (Alto Adige). These locations are renowned in a very special way for their stunning beauty and diverse history. The rich and beautiful met here from the middle of the 19th century, partied, stayed for weeks and months, lazed around, played sport, started new love affairs and intrigues.  
Rusch stages her photos with great sensitivity and precision in these fin-de-siècle settings, in doing so showing current aspects of society in a new light.
