Sven DrühlDer uniformierte Künstler – Aspekte von Uniformität im Kunstkontext |
|||||||||||||
|
Sven Drühl, the artist and art theorist, lives and works in Berlin, and attempts in his studies to determine whether the structural principle of uniformity found in a range of social fields like the military, state or church, is also present in the context of fine arts. In addition to examining aspects of uniformity through seriality at the work level, he also analyses this field at the producer and production level with regard to concrete uniformisations like those in the scenic practice of the “individual artist uniform” (Joseph Beuys, Jonathan Meese) or in the different types of corporate wear in diverse collectives (Guerilla Girls, NSK, etoy, rtmark) that are mainly relevant in the fields of net art and corporate art. |
