Nets. Weaving Webs in Art

The publication ‘Webs and Networks: on Spinning in Art’ accompanies the exhibition of the same name in the Kunsthalle zu Kiel in Germany. It features works of art that play with the idea of webs and networks – with webs that are spun naturally, like the spider’s, as well as with diagram structures and the flexible data of the Internet. The publication presents all the works of the exhibition, including those of Tomás Saraceno, with colour illustrations. In addition, authors from the spheres of science, culture and society comment on around fifty associative keywords on the subject of webs and networks, such as ‘digital’, ‘spider’, ‘web’, and ‘sensory’.
