Szilard Huszank
A Foreign Land
Szilard Huszank's landscapes constantly oscillate between figurative and abstract art. This catalogue provides an overview of his current paintings in which he now dares to enter foreign territory: new nuances of colour, contrasts, applications of paint and proportions. While Huszank's previous works frequently give the viewer the impression that they have been at the location depicted in the painting, he now goes one step further: his latest paintings depend on a stronger alienation from the colouring and lead us into a foreign country.
