Alexander Klenz
"Klenz's AEIOU series is a multi-faceted commentary on defining what a drawing is and the ways in which it can be interpreted." Nadine Rottau
Since the end of 2010, Alexander Klenz has produced one drawing every day in a "form" measuring 50 x 40 cm that he developed himself. Each page has a "standardised" frame and legend. In this way, the artist creates an archive of his own creative power and documents his artistic development. The book is also designed like an index: 1,011 drawings are listed and selected full-format works provide a greater insight into his work.
