Kunstvereint (Art Unites)

The Kunstverein Oerlinghausen has already presented numerous well-known artists and again and again inspired highly regarded works. In the meantime, it has become renowned among friends of contemporary art. The publication Kunstvereint documents one decade of work mediating between current art and those who visit and collect it—grouped according to age, origin, and interests. It therefore continues the overview of the first thirty years of this citizens’ initiative for art with a further decade: a success story that has meanwhile found convincing expression in over 200 exhibitions of contemporary painting, sculpture, photography, and critical graphic works. At the same time, it is also an argument for volunteer work, which is assuming an ever-greater role at this time and in this society.
