Baroque stylistic elements, spatial overlaps, and intensive colors characterize the works of the artist Ruth Biller (*1959). The starting point is the canvas, on which she develops a dynamic field of tension using various techniques. At the boundary to other media, the artist also expands her work to include various art forms such as film and performance and architecture. The focus here is not only on the specific characteristics, but above all also on plumbing the possibilities and limits of art forms. The publication provides insight into Ruth Biller’s particular language of forms and shows the interdisciplinary approach in her works.
