Cornelia Parker
Perpetual Canon
Cornelia Parker’s art comprises installations, sculptures, slide-projections and photography - conceptual art with particular aesthetic fascination, which owes its explosive force to a critical, ironical perception of reality and art.
In 1998 as a Turner-Prize candidate, Parker was given a solo exhibition at London’s Serpentine Gallery. Since then her work has been shown in numerous international institutions, such as the ICA in Boston (2000) and the Galleria d’Arte Moderna, Turin (2001).
The illustrated book presents the English artist’s (*1956) room-installation in the historic cupola hall of the Württembergischer Kunstverein with a number of her works on paper.
