Erik Bulatov
Freiheit ist Freiheit — Freedom is Freedom
Erik Bulatov, born in 1933 in Sverdlovsk (now Ekaterinburg) in the Urals, like Ilya Kabakov, is one of a small but influential group of Russian artists, who found their way to independent forms of artistic expression beyond the state reglementation of Soviet art system.
This book is a comprehensive presentation of the work of the artist, who lives in Paris. It contains 25 large-format illustrations of paintings and, for the first time, displays a selection of his drawings.
