This book presents the latest trends and the newest forms of expression of geometric abstract art covering painting, sculpture, photography, video art and installation art. A new generation of young artists is utilizing abstract art’s traditional repertoire and is re-interpreting the form in a completely new way. The debate with the geometric language of form occurs within the art itself – through adaptations or deconstructions of Bauhaus, de Stijl and Suprematism – and through the appropriation of design elements, computer aesthetics, film, and complex architectural hybrids.
