Karl Horst Hödicke is considered a pioneer of German Neo-expressionism and a prominent representative of New Figurative painting. The collection is concentrated on the second half of the 1970s, when Hödicke developed his inimitable, expressive form of figurative painting, whose influence on the young art scene in 1980s Berlin cannot be underestimated.
