Danh Vo

This artist’s book presents a collection of printed objects that all portray an aspect of the work of the artist Danh Vo; their diversity documents the great variety of his art practice. His installations of documents, photographs and appropriations of works by other artists question identity and belonging; held together by an elastic band are five individual pieces: a newspaper, three notebooks and an envelope that contains a letter and photographs. Danh Vo’s artist’s book is being published on the occasion of the award of the blauorange 2007 prize from the Deutsche Volksbank and Raiffeisenbank.
