This book brings together fifteen interviews between the respected Frankfurt art critic and significant contemporary artists. The vast majority of the interviews took place on the occasion of an exhibition; linking the conversations to the respective works. This direct exchange with the artists produces new, and at times unexpected, understandings of their art practice.
