Talia Keinan
The mountain and the shivering fact
The Israeli artist Talia Keinan works with video, video installations and drawings.
Keinan always creates individual worlds with her room-based installations, video works and her drawings: Projection surfaces make a sculptural presence in the space; light and sound play an important role, merging with the installations to create one unified composition. Often, the visual projections are the only source of light and intensify the unusual atmosphere.
The dramaturgy of Keinan’s installations continues in her delicate drawings. Using only minimalist means, she draws the observer into a world full of magic and mystery. Symbols and stories come together here, but also images displaying very personal expressions – dream worlds that remain obscure.
