Anton Corbijn has had personalities from all walks of life in front of his camera. “Private Passion” presents 30 large-scale works from Günter Becker’s collection – photographs include those of Miles Davis, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Luciano Pavarotti and even Stephen Hawking and Gerard Dépardieu.
Both the catalogue and the exhibition afford a profound insight into all of the work produced by the Dutch photographer and director, who has achieved global recognition for his films “Control” and “The American” as well as numerous music videos for, among others, Joy Division, Nirvana, U2, Depeche Mode and Herbert Grönemeyer.
