Stefan Wischnewski
Stefan Wischnewski’s first monograph presents three of his main cycles of work, which are dealt with by four authors under the following headings: "art and leisure", "autonomous and less autonomous objects", "networks and textile transformations".
His sculptures, installations and projects do not belong to the traditional panoply of sculptural activities, they generally investigate and interact directly with his environment. The artist joins together objects to form small to large-scale overall shapes, thus deliberately prompting associations beyond the original material used.
