Rune Guneriussen was born in Kongsberg, Norway in 1977. The artist lives and works in Vestfossen in Eastern Norway. In 2000–02 he attended the Surrey Institute of Art & Design in England, graduating with a BA in photography. Selected exhibitions to date: Urban Nation Biennale, Berlin (2019); Matmut Centré d’Art Contemporain, Rennes, France (2018); Museum Kunst der Westküste on Föhr, Germany (2018, group show, and 2022); Manifesta Maastricht (2011).
