Mark Pinder (*1966) studied documentary photography at the Newport College of Art with the Magnum photographer David Hurn. In 1987, he returned to Newcastle in his home in Northeast England and began his career as a freelance editorial and documentary photographer working for various British and international clients. He has spent the past three and a half decades documenting the enormous social, political, and economic changes that this region of Great Britain has undergone.
