Anija Seedler

This extensive and subtly designed publication brings together the oeuvre of the artist and scenographer Anija Seedler in a unique manner. Her works in ink, watercolor and acrylic are characterized by the presence of the simple curved line, the power of color accents and a perfect self-contained world of image and narrative. People, animals and things are turned into curiosities, archetypical characters and prompts for film-like moments of recollection. Fragmented image sequences with powerful and at the same time original associations present classical aspects in new contexts and lay down references to the cinematic.
