Christian Sery (*1959) is one of the most original artists of today in Dresden. Many associate his name with large spatial interventions and rubber molds, with which he explores, reveals, and defines architectural contexts. Besides such spatial installations, Christian Sery has also produced an extensive painterly and graphic oeuvre that is worth discovering as well. Drawings in which the artist explores spaces in clear, linear structures can now be see for the first time at the Städtische Galerie and in the accompanying catalogue. The book also presents a very unique show of works that Sery created especially for the exhibition.
