The publication is the first overview of the oeuvre of the artist Constanze Vogt (*1984) and presents her work of the past four years. Her minimalist transformations of materials make transitional phenomena visible. Her materials come from everyday life: paper, thread, the shavings from sharpened pencils. Vogt’s objects and installations are processual and fleeting at the same time. In addition to the self-referential, space-filling works, the artist also creates drawings based on which she elaborates a space of possibilities on the picture surface. The drawings develop along a standardized system that is, in part, also refracted within the process. The drawings accompany Vogt’s objects and installations as an encrypted commentary.
