Dieter Huber

In SolidGold Dieter Huber has collected one hundred works, all of which were created using gold. However, the artist is not interested in the use of the precious metal as an expression of power, opulence, and wealth, but in the warm radiance, light reflective qualities, and uplifting atmosphere that this material exudes. Huber works in a wide range of media but always with a particular emphasis on the written, painted, or printed word. Through his use of fragments of speech, primarily quotes from prominent historical figures, Huber aims to expand the perception of art which, in the form of a space designed in terms of content, aesthetics, and atmosphere, serves to inspire contemplation.
