This monograph features selected works of the painter Ekkehard Tischendorf, all of which were created between 2009 and 2013 and document the artist’s way of thinking and working. In his imagery, Ekkehard Tischendorf brings figurative and abstract elements together artistically into an exciting dialogue. The fragile aesthetic model of a psychologised human portrait as well as the wistful adaptation of nature which finds contemplation in large-format picture panoramas and often in natural alpine phenomena, both move into the centre of the image.
