Karl Karner and Linda Samaraweerová move across genres between the visual and the performing arts. They develop choreographic works out of sculpture, installation, performance, dance, theatre and video and present them internationally in the form of exhibitions or performances. Their works allude to transformation and progress: during the installation-based performances, when reception becomes part of the performance or when the sculptures, despite their solid state, seem to be moving and permanently mutating.
Their experiments in communication are made visible and tangible in this collectively designed, opulent publication.
