“Hidden Stories” consists of works by four international artists, all of whom share an interest in the boundaries between reality and fiction, the conscious and the hidden, the rational and the abstract.
The works, which are often both narrative and symbolic, address contemporary issues, literary, cultural and historic myths but also biographical material, the supernatural, repressed memories and traumas. In “Hidden Stories”, multi-layered realities collide with one another like a picture puzzle in a daydream. The artists formulate perspectives on the world as well as critical and utopian alternatives as visions of freedom.
