In mindestens_ein_gedanke_zu, the title says it all: the book brings together twenty-five texts by twenty-five renowned authors on twenty-five works by twenty-five artists. The style of the commenting texts ranges from quite narrative to interpretive or freely associative points of view. The catalogue, which is being published in connection with the Bremerhaven-Stipendium (Bremerhafen scholarship) and the accompanying exhibition at the Kunsthalle Bremerhaven, shows how differently art can be comprehended. The texts provide paradigmatic access to the individual works and simultaneously invite readers to approach them independently and individually. The result is a compendium on contemporary art that juxtaposes the works and reflection on them in an exemplary manner.
