Tradition meets modernity—In Weilburg an der Lahn, a Baroque residence town famous for its castle complex and the only shipping tunnel in Germany, an art museum is being created in the extraordinary surroundings of a former brewery site. In future, the museum will present works by renowned artists such as Georg Baselitz, Gerhard Richter, and Günther Uecker, with regularly changing exhibitions focusing above all on German artists. Parts of the Villa Rosenhang art collection will also be presented to the public in a permanent exhibition.
