Exploring his home town for a year with his camera, Bielefeld urban photographer Veit Mette stumbled upon fascinating places and moments. His photographs record the town’s dealings with its people, and the people’s with their town. The works collected in the publication paint a varied picture of Bielefeld, with unique images documenting life in the East Westphalian city. To quote Veit Mette: “Funny, tragic, East Westphalian, beautiful, touching, cheeky, and sometimes out-and-out mean – that’s Bielefeld to a ‘T’. Among other things.”
