A comprehensive retrospective is being published on the occasion of the 90th birthday of the artist Vera Molnar, one of the pioneers of Digital Art. As early as the late 1960s she worked constantly with the computer, translating her hand drawings of elementary basic shapes into self-written programming, and  observing a design principle that was key for her: chance. This gave rise inter alia to series in which clear structures are varied by random perturbations. This publication illustrates Molnar’s artistic development, ranging from the early, never-before-shown oeuvre to her present day works.
