Kinki Texas

Mental Shiloh Supper Club

Mental Shiloh Supper Club provides insights into Kinki Texas’s artistic world with motifs that call to mind historical painting: heroes, fortresses, battles. In Kinki-Texas-space, however, a knight is never only a knight, a skirmish never only a skirmish. The pictorial elements are created in a friable manner, changing and opening up narrative possibilities that, in their diversity, can be humorous, tragic, and witty at the same time.

Along with an introductory interview, the book of images with more than 60 reproductions presents works by the artist from 2013 to 2016.
