The wealth of possible interpretations of the most prominent Jewish figure of legend, the Golem, in one publication.

Jiri Georg Dokoupil

While his expressive, figurative style of painting aligned him with the “Neue Wilde” (Young Wild Ones) artistic group at the beginning of the 1980s, his subsequent work has defied easy classification. He engages in a critical examination of the history of art in the 20th century, developing ever-new stylistic approaches and experimenting with a diverse range of materials.
