Since her beginnings as an artist, Martha Jungwirth has valued paper as a medium for painting. Her subtle, intensive color compositions serve to convey her subjective perception of visible and felt reality.

Wolfgang Neumann

In his paintings and drawings, Wolfgang Neumann cites famous scenes and protagonists from images – ones we know well – that are transmitted by the contemporary media. The artist (*1977) reduces individual motifs to create grotesque-surreal compositions replete with content; the viewer can thus choose from a great number of “immediate” ways of accessing the work.
