Zum Beispiel Oerlinghausen

The Oerlinghausen Art Association is the result of the committed and inventive 1970s, and today, thirty years of community work have borne fruit, as this chronology shows. Since its very beginning, and right up to the present day, two fundamental characteristics have shaped the Art Association: the facilitation of the discussion of contemporary art through excellent work, the responsibility of the Association to its premises, in what was once a synagogue, and the need to keep awareness of this responsibility alive in the minds of the town’s inhabitants. This dual impetus forms the framework of the work of the Association, and truly unites both active and passive members. Since its foundation, the Association has hosted around 150 exhibitions; these are proof of how this community initiative has a particular value, that is recognised even within the German Art Association working group, to which Oerlinghausen has belonged for many years.
