Videonale 13

Festival For Contemporary Video Art

The “Videonale” in Kunstmuseum Bonn is one of the oldest and most acclaimed festivals of video art in Europe today and sees itself as a platform for both aspiring and established artists. The 13th Videonale focuses on current issues from the field of conservation, presentation and copyright as well as the themes of “Documentary style in video art” and “Urban images”. Both themes represent a stronger emphasis on content in current video art, these are examined not only in this year’s Videonale exhibition, but also in the accompanying catalogue.
