Hadassah Emmerich

The exhibition catalogue ‘Hadassah Emmerich. Double Bind Epics’ accompanies her solo show at SCHUNCK* in Heerlen, The Netherlands. The catalogue will present Hadassah Emmerich’s new series of paintings, drawings and murals in combination with several key works from her oeuvre. The artist’s work is engaging with subjects such as exotism, female image and (regional) identity. Hadassah Emmerich’s multicultural roots (Indonesia, China, Germany and the Netherlands) are often present in her work. The exhibition catalogue will present an overview of her oeuvre from the year 2000 until the present.
