Stefanie Woch

Stefanie Woch considers herself an observer. She makes it possible to see parallel lives and discover hidden worlds in seemingly common scenarios. The everyday meets the mystical or poetic In Woch’s paintings, drawings, sculptures, and texts. In them, she researches new ways of depicting things through art. Working mainly in mixed media, with colored ink, tempera paint, or acrylic, she translates her motifs into images, sometimes descriptively, sometimes abstractly. This monograph documents Stefanie Woch’s works of art from the past two years; diary-like entries link the works to her personal experiences.
