Frederik Pajunk (*1970) first set out to pursue his career as a professional lawyer. Following his studies at Heidelberg and Göttingen University he was awarded a Doctorate Degree of Laws. Afterwards he had various roles in Berlin, Frankfurt-on-Main and London. At some point he decided to give his life a new direction and started focusing on his photographic body of work.
After completing a BA in photography in Hamburg he enrolled in the Photography Studies and Practise Master Programme at Folkwang University of Arts. In his work Frederik focuses on transitional processes from an individual, social, and autobiographical point of view. In fall 2018, he published his book Mitte des Lebens (Middle of Life).
