Eugen Gomringer

Eugen Gomringer was one of the founders of the Concrete Poetry movement and has published many volumes of poetry and essays on poetics.

1925 born in Cachuela Esperanza, Bolivia
1944 –1950 studied Art at the university of Bern/Switzerland
1954 – 1957 assistant of Max Bill at the Hochschule für Gestaltung (HFG) Ulm
1961 – 1967 CEO of the Schweizer Werkbundes (SWB), Zürich
1976 - 1990 Professor at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf
2011 Alice-Salomon-Prize
