Eja Siepman van den Berg (*1943) studied at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam (1962–67) and was awarded the prestigious Prix de Rome in 1967. In 1978, she was the first person to be awarded the Charlotte van Pallandt Prize, which is named after the eminent twentieth-century Dutch sculptress.
Works by Eja Siepman van den Berg can be found in major museums in the Netherlands. She has realized sculptures for the public space of major Dutch cities, such as Amsterdam, Leiden, The Hague, Groningen, and Leeuwarden, among others.
