Peter Martensen
Ravage
Peter Martensens (*1953) art is willful. In search of an existential artistic truth, he charts his own course, through his painting, detached from the trends of modern art. Martensen is one of the major figures of the contemporary Danish artistic scene. His artwork has been hosted by several Danish museums and has been exhibited in Sweden, Italy, Korea, New York and Paris.
Ravage is his first monographic exhibition in a French museum, the Musée d’art moderne et contemporain de Saint-Étienne Métropole, and on the Parisian institutional scene Maison du Danemark.
